Personal Info
Jake is a dedicated and proactive podiatrist with experience across both NHS and private practice. He specialises in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal foot and lower-limb conditions, with particular interests in sports injuries, biomechanics, gait analysis, orthotic therapy and rehabilitation.
Alongside his role at Flawless Feet, Jake works within Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust, where he manages a varied caseload that includes high-risk diabetic foot care, wound management, orthotic prescription and minor surgical procedures. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams and has gained further experience through diabetic foot clinics and observation within podiatric surgery.
Jake has experience using biomechanical assessment, gait analysis and pressure-measurement technology to understand the factors contributing to pain or injury. He combines these findings with tailored rehabilitation, load-management strategies, footwear advice and orthotic interventions to create practical treatment plans suited to each patient’s needs and goals.
Outside the clinic, Jake has a strong sporting background and regularly participates in running, cycling, swimming and strength training, alongside activities such as skiing, squash and rock climbing. This gives him a personal understanding of the demands of training, injury recovery and returning to sport.
Jake has also volunteered as a podiatry medic at the London Marathon and as part of the medical team at the Marathon des Sables. His approachable, patient-centred style and commitment to ongoing professional development make him a valued member of the Flawless Feet team.
