Covid-19 Virus
Your Health at Flawless Feet is our Priority
Covid-19 Virus
From 1st June we will have two of our clinics open, Croydon and Forest Hill. Our other two clinics, Covent Garden and Knightsbridge will hopefully we reopen in early July.
To All Our Patients
As one of our valued patients, you know your health is our priority and how important it is for us at Flawless Feet to ensure you feel safe and happy coming to see one of our podiatrists. At this time of heightened sensitivity around public health, we wanted to let you know some of the measured and informed practices we have in place across our clinics to ensure you feel safe and comfortable at our practices in light of the COVID 19 virus.
We have everything in place to protect you and us so that we can treat your feet in a safe environment. We have listened to the Government’s and our College of Podiatry’s advice on new working practices that will reduce the risk of transmitting the coronavirus.
Foot problems haven’t stopped occurring, toenails have kept growing and our ethos to care is still here- wanting to look after our patients. It has been a difficult two months not seeing everyone (although we have all enjoyed the sunny days!).
What we have for you-
What you need to do-
As always, all of our equipment is sterilised for every individual patient and our podiatrists will continue to be wearing gloves throughout your treatment, these are changed for each new patient. Our podiatrists and receptionists will be washing their hands thoroughly on a regular basis throughout the day. Our clinics are all thoroughly cleaned at the start of the day and at the end of the day, clinic spaces and reception areas will also be wiped down throughout the day. We will ensure that hand sanitiser is available at all of our clinics and we kindly ask you to ensure you make sure you use some before seeing your podiatrist.
We ask that if you feel unwell, have a persistent cough or have recently arrived to the UK from abroad please call us ahead of your appointment. We may ask you to rebook the following week or in two weeks time. Please try and give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to another patient if needs be.
Finally we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment but not too early to avoid waiting in our waiting areas for too long. If your appointment is at our Forest Hill clinic, can you please ensure that you visit the bathroom prior to arriving as this is a home based clinic and we will not be able to take you into the main house to use the facilities.
While there is no way to make sure we (or anywhere!) is a completely risk free environment, we are doing all that we can to ensure our patients and staff are kept as safe as possible. We will continue to follow government and W.H.O. guidelines and will update our procedures according to the latest advice.

The term ‘Podiatrist’ is a relatively new word and title which replaces the word ‘Chiropodist’. The title more accurately describes our profession. However both titles are still in common use, and are now protected in law to safeguard the public.
Your Chiropodist / Podiatrist will have undertaken a full-time three year professional training, which ended with Membership of the
Society of
Chiropodists and Podiatrists and State Registration on the Council for Professions supplementary to Medicine. The latter organisation was
replaced with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
State Registered Chiropodist as a title has been replaced with HCPC registered. It is a requirement of the HCPC that all Podiatrists undertake annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain their registration.
