Welcome to Flawless Feet

The foot and ankle are amazingly complex. Each set of feet is made up of 52 bones, 66 joints, 214 ligaments, 58 muscles and tendons. The average person walks about 10,000 steps a day. During a lifetime it is thought that a person has walked enough steps to have traveled around the planet more than 4 times, which is approximately 115,000 miles!

Your feet are performing every moment of every day and your feet need to be at an optimum level of health and function in order to cope with the stresses and strains of everyday life.

It is no wonder that 80% of us will experience foot health problems of varying degrees, at some point in our lives. The ancient Greek philosopher Socrates once claimed, “When our feet hurt, we hurt all over”.

With this blog we will try to bring some insights to the treatment and prevention of foot problems. We hope you will find our postings useful and practical.

Should you ever have any concerns about your foot health, we would be happy to see you in one of our clinics.

We offer a full Podiatry/ Chiropody service including nail cutting, callus reduction and corn removal. We also offer treatments for verrucas and fungal nails.

Ingrowing toe nails can be very painful and these can be treated using local anaesthetics. Nail surgery can be undertaken to offer a permanent solution to ingrowing nails.

Flawless Feet Podiatry & Laser clinic is based in Covent Garden & Sydenham & Croydon

We look forward to welcoming you.
